I created this apple lino print for my Sister's Birthday present this weekend. It's inspired by the Wes Anderson film 'Fantastic Mr Fox ' (her favourite), where The Red Remarkable Apples features. I love the idea of a 'perfect' apple, adorned with drawn stars an all. It was fun to create something really different, the simplicity of it is quite charming I think! It has got me thinking what other fun elements from films you could pick out.

I first create my hand drawing on tracing paper and transfer this onto my lino block. I then carefully carve this our with my lino tools, and this time I sprinkled some glitter on them while they were drying to add in some extra Wez Anderson magic!
